Meat-Based Dog Food - Grain-Free.
If you love to feed raw meat to your dog, but you also want the convenience of a completely manufactured food, then Natural Health Carnivore is THE food for you! With the right choice of ingredients, this food gives the same benefits as raw, frozen meat or homemade meat-rich food for your pet.
Natural Health Carnivore has a low percentage of starch, a high percentage of protein, and is free of grains. Just like in humans, an abundance of high-calorie carbohydrates increases the risk of obesity, diabetes and general lethargy. At this point, most dog foods still have grain and grain by-products as the basis of their diet.
By eliminating the carbohydrates of grain, which reduce its nutritional value, Natural Health Carnivore actually boosts protein levels and therefore nutritional value.
In addition, Natural Health Carnivore is rich in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. It is also preserved with a mix of tocopherols (vitamins E & C).
